A pop star getting inked isn’t new, but I do like the twist of it happening at the Guggenheim Museum in New York. Lady Gaga, always piece of art herself, got inked at a party last night.
She used tattooing as performance art: all the people watched her sitting still (one hopes), face down. It begs the question- what is it that was interesting? Is it the tattooing? That can get dull to watch if you don’t have a good seat. Is it the tattoo itself? A cherub on her neck. Is it the famous person? Her face wasn’t visible. And, of course, the whole thing was a launch of her new fragrance “Fame” (natch).

nice tattoo
I love it!
