WHAT IS PERMANENT COSMETICS? Permanent
cosmetics or make-up, cosmetic tattooing, and micropigmentation are all different names for the art of inserting pigment
into the skin. Color pigments secifically formulated for cosmetic use are implanted into the dermal layer of the skin
with either manual or electrically powered tools.
IS IT REALLY PERMANENT? Because the pigment
of permanent cosmetics heals into the skin and doesn't wash off, it is considered peranent. Ultra-violet exposure from
sun or tanning booths, after care, and skin treatments all may affect the permanence of the procedures. Protection from
the sun will greatly prolong the longevity of your work. Fading can, and does, occur requiring periodic maintenance to
keep it fresh.
WHY THE HAND METHOD? The SofTap® hand
method of permanent makeup combines greater precision with versatility for soft and natural looking results. The technique
is designed to provide maximum comfort, fast healing, complete control, and minimal touch ups.
IS IT SAFE? Client safety and comfort is
our priority. The highest standards are employed before, during and after the permanet cosmetic procedure. We use single
use disposable needles and pigments, along with regular hand washing and glove changing as a part of a thorough
cross-contamination practice. Although very rare, allergic reactions may occur, primarily with reds pigments.
