Sasha has
specialized training and certificates in Softap permanent cosmetics, Areola Repigmentation, Skin Needling, and Cross-Contamination
Prevention. She uses a hand tool to implant pigment for soft, natural looking eyebrows, lips and eyeliner.
Permanent cosmetics are ideal for people who
have: • Faded or thinning eyebrows • Impaired
eyesight or unsteady hands • Active lifestyles • Permanent
hair loss • Allergies or sensitivities to traditional cosmetics
• Eyebrow and eyelash loss due to alopecia • Had breast cancer reconstruction and
wish to recreate the areola
Permanent cosmetics are not: • A
total make-up replacement, instead micropigmentation is a
subtle enhancement of your features.

WHAT IS PERMANENT COSMETICS? Permanent
cosmetics or make-up, cosmetic tattooing, and micropigmentation are all different names for the art of inserting pigment
into the skin. Color pigments secifically formulated for cosmetic use are implanted into the dermal layer of the skin
with either manual or electrically powered tools.
IS IT REALLY PERMANENT? Because the pigment
of permanent cosmetics heals into the skin and doesn't wash off, it is considered permanent. Ultra-violet exposure from
sun or tanning booths, after care, and skin treatments all may affect the permanence of the micropigmentation. Protection
from the sun will greatly prolong the longevity of your work. Fading can, and does, occur requiring periodic maintenance
to keep permanent cosmetics fresh.
WHY THE HAND METHOD? The SofTap® hand
method of micropigmentation combines precision with versatility for soft and natural looking results for eyebrows, liner,
and lips.
This permanent makeup technique is designed to provide maximum
comfort, fast healing, complete control, and minimal touch ups.
IS PERMANENT MAKEUP SAFE? Client
safety and comfort is our priority. The highest standards are employed before, during and after any permanent cosmetic procedure.
We use single use disposable needles and pigments for each client. This along with regular hand washing and glove
changing are a part of a thorough cross-contamination practice. Although very rare, allergic reactions
may occur, primarily with reds pigments. Patch tests availible upon request.

Areola repigmentation.
For women (and men) who've had reconstructive surgery after breast cancer and would
like realistic areolas/nipples tattooed. Sasha has had specialized training and ceritfied in this technique of areola
repigmentation to create natural color and shape.
"Ok, cancer and breast reconstruction are
no fun but getting your tattoos can be! Finding Dragonfly Ink was the culmination of a long process. And, what
a great way to end! Sasha was so cool, she spent lots of time making sure I was comfortable and that the colors (for
the areola repigmentation) were what I wanted. Plus my friends and I had a really fun time at her studio. And,
the end result was fantastic. I am so grateful there is a place like Dragonfly Ink out there! I'd recommend Dragonfly
and Sasha to anyone."
